Well, we had a great day in Plymouth, MA at our 'trash the dress' shoot. I know, you are thinking, 'why trash the dress?' Well, you don't really trash it (well, at least we hadn't). There are brides out there that have ripped, cut, torn, and incinerated their bridal gowns. We wanted to do some beautiful and fun shots...before any trashing took place.
We thought we could have our bride get ready at a local shop, but that early in the morning...no one was open. Then comes the Lobster Hut (or as we say in Boston, the 'Lobstah hut'). They saw us wondering around with two roll out cases, external lighting, and a bride with a big bag. We explained what we were doing...and the manager came out (keep in mind, it is very early in the morning, long before any of the local businesses were open) and opened up for us and allowed us to use their facilities for our getting ready. They were very kind to us and we deeply appreciated that. So, here is our 'shout-out' to the Lobster Hut , THANK YOU! 25 Town Wharf Plymouth, MA 02360 (508) 746-2270, there is their address and phone, go have a dinner down there and support the local businesses.
So, we just wanted to throw a shot out here of that day. As she entered the water (keep in mind it was chilly that day and the water was very cold) the look on her face was priceless. I think she thought 'what in the world am I doing?'. Well, it was beautiful. Whoever thought you could use the words 'trash' and 'beautiful' in the same sentence? Great job, Sally! ~Derek & Vanessa
